Welcome to Founders Pulse, an executive assistant application operated by Sandbox Group LLC ("we," "us," or "our"). By using Founders Pulse, you agree to these Terms of Service.

1. Service Description

Founders Pulse is a mobile application that aggregates information from your connected business accounts to provide daily briefings, meeting preparation, and actionable insights. The service connects to:

Google Workspace (Gmail and Calendar)
Slack
Notion
GitHub
Plaid (Banking)

      Read-Only Access: All integrations operate in read-only mode. Founders Pulse will never send emails on your behalf, post messages to Slack, modify your calendar events, edit Notion pages, push code to GitHub, or initiate financial transactions.
    

2. Account and Authorization

To use Founders Pulse, you must:

Be at least 18 years old or the legal age of majority in your jurisdiction
Have the authority to grant read-only access to the accounts you connect
Provide accurate information during the OAuth authorization process
Maintain the security of your account credentials

3. Data Processing

When you connect your accounts, Founders Pulse:

Reads data from your connected services to generate insights
Processes this data using AI (OpenAI) to extract relevant information and generate summaries
Stores processed insights in our database for historical context and trend analysis
Displays confidence ratings (HIGH, MEDIUM, LOW) for all AI-generated insights

Items marked "Needs Review" indicate lower confidence and should be verified before taking action.

4. Market Pulse Feature

The Market Pulse feature monitors external news sources for information about your company, competitors, and industry. This feature:

Uses Google Custom Search to find relevant news and updates
Processes results through AI to classify relevance and generate summaries
Is optional and configurable in your settings

5. Intellectual Property

The Founders Pulse application, including its design, code, and AI prompts, is the property of Sandbox Group LLC. Your data remains your property; we claim no ownership over the content retrieved from your connected accounts.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

Use the service for any unlawful purpose
Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or extract the source code
Interfere with or disrupt the service or its servers
Share your account access with unauthorized parties
Use the service to process data you don't have rights to access

7. Service Availability

We strive to maintain high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. The service depends on third-party APIs (Google, Slack, Notion, GitHub, Plaid) which may experience outages or changes outside our control.

8. Limitation of Liability

Important: Founders Pulse provides informational summaries and insights. You should independently verify important information before making business decisions. We are not liable for actions taken based on AI-generated insights.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Sandbox Group LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the service.

9. Termination

You may disconnect your accounts and stop using the service at any time through the Settings screen. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access for violations of these terms.

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

11. Governing Law

These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of the State of Oregon, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.
